It's about time!!!

For all of you who know how many blogs I read....I know you are saying...."It's about time!"  Well here you go....finally I have a blog of my own:)

In preparation for the birth of our little boy, I wanted to go ahead and get this blog going so that our family and friends who we don't see as often can see pictures and read updates about our little one.  He's due in a little over 6 weeks and we are SO very excited.  It's sort of surreal to be preparing for his arrival and we can hardly believe that it's almost time for him to come.

Things we have left to do before Baby Boy Fischer comes:
1. Get the room ready (furniture comes tomorrow and my wonderful mom is coming over next week to help me get things organized and make the room look cute!)  I'll post pictures after next week.
2. Give Matt a tour of the hospital (we are delivering a the hospital I work at, so I need to show him where things are so he won't annoy the nurses...haha!)
3. Pack for the hospital
4. One last really fun Date Night!  We want to just go out for a nice dinner just the two of us, since we know those will become more difficult to do.  (Although both of our parents are fairly close and probably won't mind watching our little man occasionally, right?!)

I feel huge and can't imagine growing for 6 and a half more weeks!  Definitely struggled with some body image issues during the pregnancy and selfishly can't wait to (hopefully) get my pre-pregnancy body back.  But I know it will all be worth it when I'm holding my little man for the first time (can't wait for that moment!).



Well how's that for a first post.  We can't wait to share more pictures and info about our family in the coming years!
